About Me

My photo
I am one of the most random people you may ever meet. I do my best to enjoy life in general, and I try to be content with what God has blessed me to have in my life. I am a blunt, honest individual that will give you an honest opinion if asked. Relationships are the most important things in my life. I am concerned with only the opinions of close friends, family, and other close relations of people who care about me. Otherwise, I tend to not care what other people think of me. I am not here to please the world. I am on this planet to serve others in hopes that God finds favor with my efforts to do so at the end of my Earthly existence. I am a good-natured person that lives for the moment. Even though not always successful, I try to look at things in a positive light with a productive attitude and world view. I am thankful for each breath that I take because each breath that is taken is a blessing in of itself. Make the most of what you can while you can. You get one chance at this thing called life. So try your best to Glorify God and Enjoy Him Forever. If you have any questions about me or my BLOG, don't hesitate to ask, and I will give you a straightforward answer.

12 – In My Soul Where He Stays

12 – In My Soul Where He Stays

One more to complete thirteen poems others claim I am crazy.
Absolutely right I will never settle in my refusal to be lazy.
So much negativity floats in the word of those who negate.
Now is the time to live purposefully for it’s never too late.
A one stop light town girl picks up a guitar to play
Wondering whether dreams will fall in the steps we lay.
It’s amazing how successful we become when our nerves surrender.
As a writer with words of meaning in my passions I become her defender.
Falling into likeness with a sudden knight who rises in his armor,
I rise to protect those so jerks will no longer be able to harm her.
A gent from twilight sessions could not relax to let go
Because it is no longer my own growth in the pursuit that I sow.
It is a force in relationship with Jesus who brings two together
So nothing in the past or future can break two in any endeavor.
Two become one in the pledge of a life spent worth the words of an exchange.
I might not finish the goal in the lives that together two could change.
I believe that with a common vision for eternity two far better reach than one
As a pursuit to complete the journey both reach the highest in worship for the Son.
I cannot, will not, and refuse to settle for what I know what God has in store.
That belief in faith impels me forward to a friendship so about you I can learn more.
We settle in the stupidity that God never shows or reveals himself to those who follow.
That hopelessness burns a hole in the soul like rotten wood in the silence so hollow.
I cannot imagine my life forever without the one in the hopes of tomorrow.
I try my best so that I fulfill the joys reaching beyond my own self-pity and sorrow.
Even with failure the end will present a glorious celebration of all days
Because the Lord delivered at the surrender of my hands in my soul where He stays.

Eleven - Simple But One of My Favorites

11

A plan if all will jump on board together we cannot fail.
I will send copies of poetry books through the mail.
I believe even if a social media campaign of this nature
Seems absurd and foolish to many
Life should be fun where impossible dreams see plausible.
As an example we can ignite a revolution of hope
Where the symbol of one person creates motion as kindness pays forward.
Recognition impels the attention of others to be drawn
When success reaches newfound unexpected levels.
Fame evolves in ways we sometimes do not intend.
For better or worse our lives receive scrutiny often unwarranted.
We all have our own gifts that cause others to look.
One becomes the character defined by journalists in a book.
Sometimes society transforms us into an image
Over the person God molded in the womb of creation.
Masks conceal in commercials who we really are.
We open our hearts when spotlights no longer reveal the star.
A beautiful person exists behind the music of the guitar.
That is who I seek to know when reality lets go of suspected barriers.
I cannot resist caught in lyrics of the written word.
To ignore my feelings that is the only pursuit that would be absurd.

Ten – A Hint of Spiritual Confidence

Ten – A Hint of Spiritual Confidence

Ten leads almost to thirteen.
By now you realize I am not like any other man.
I stretch my arms in praise in the songs to Him I rise.
I got delivery, swagger, and skills.
Dropping dimes like loose change,
I stroll up into the red carpets like I always belonged
Stretching my arms to show the size of these shotguns.
My reputation comes up; please call me Captain Awesome.
I stand out in silent confidence blessed in the Spirit.
I spit game but quietly lead when the moment arrives.
Nothing shy, nothing holding me back, I strive
Beyond the luke warmness of a settled generation.
Climbing mountains, sprinting the spread of deserts,
Swimming oceans, and flying the skies,
I travel life journeys excelling past the human norm
Refusing to conform in the expectations of others.
I surround myself in the midst of His teachings
With guardian angels backed up in armies
Behind my back in revealed eyes seeing
The reality of this spiritual frontier to fight for eternity.
I exist in the awesomeness of One who lives
In the power of Christ whose name I call
Where nothing conquers causing this man to fall.
Until my shoulders collapse I swing to the sky
Where no other can compare because of he
And the power of Christ that lives within me.
The Great Reward at the end of my race I will receive
In no false pretenses in the lies of the enemy.
I listen to the battle cry of dreams of my calling
And stand before with my knights in shining armor.
No fear shivers with adrenaline in my blood pumping
Because I sprint toward the fight to triumph
With victory inevitable in the strength I receive
In a prayer of faith I speak and believe into existence.
The power comes not because I doubt
But rather because I know the promises of His Word
That waits in patience at the finish line
Where celebration for eternity expects my arrival.

NINE – The Occurrence of a Miracle

Nine of thirteen we are approaching the end of a series with captivating descriptions
Of feelings to cherish worth the lyrics written within many of your song.
I am a man of many words with the gift of gab blessed beyond most
With a heart that meshes with dreams explored through space, stars, and time.
This is the nature of elements in the enchantment of published poetry and music.
We create with original thoughts for the simple enjoyments of expression.
I love to write and feel the beat of the moment with each key stoke I press.
My bones shift through my skin with the day dream of dating a good heart
Where like winning the lottery odds in probabilities exist against my doing,
However I choose to believe in the infinite as I speak our reality into existence
With the prayer that appears off the tip of my lips on my knees bent in pleading.
When two warm hearts mesh to change the world everything collides in harmony
Where the current of the journey seems so natural a scare of reality shock transpires
With bewilderment if God loves me this much to give my very heart’s desire.
I wonder why He would bless me beyond what He has already done with so much more.
I am reminded of grace and mercy that He wants the best for His disciplined few
That with faith power reveals that dreams are possible in the wildest minds can imagine.
Spread your wings to ask whatever your heart truly desires,
And with the faith of mustard seeds you may receive whatever your tears represent
In the yearning in only what eternity could present in the occurrence of a miracle.

Eight - Finish the Race with Passionate Fury

Like a figure eight in the loop of an eternal race of infinity,
Life is precious with each moment we to his tribute raise.
I press on toward the goal for which Christ calls
Beyond all the times I have risen to fall.
Often we feel like the lap of loops never ends,
However we continue to persist through each corner and turn.
The world has yet to experience the power of Christ in my indefinite dimension
In the truth of each message I bring that I mention.
The audience sits as the performance shows with ratings
Beyond expectations that rise above
As you sit with giggly smiles as you stare in God’s work in my eyes.
No power can come against His Love
Because the cross paid everything overcame.
I am revived to pray, wish, and ask
For the impossible in others’ eyes
Because I live in the shadows of angels’ wings
This figure eight cannot stop this champion
Because I will finish the race with every swing it brings.
I have after all become that man whose heart always sings.

SEVEN – Perhaps the Best Yet! My Favorite Number!

SEVEN  – Perhaps the Best Yet! My Favorite Number!

Seven becomes a very special number that triumphs over the number six
In the cross fire of light rays over dark shadows.
Chariots on the seventh day into creation strike through clouds that part the sky.
He answers with sympathy beyond understanding with our tears we shed.
In a majestic seven, all things created beyond a fictional brief bang.
More like a snap of the fingers as paintings unfold God breaths
Unbelievable blessings through the ribs of man.
All of a sudden the only response man can whisper to himself, “Whoa.”
With white flags surrendered in the sudden stop of heart beats with crosses lifted up,
God delivered with company for future families to be conceived.
I seek meaning beyond country star’s labels, fame, awards, and image.
Who is this fascinating person I have yet to hold hands with,
Who I have yet to walk through Parthenon’s park,
Who I have yet to pray, worship, and honor God’s image in?
For seven days is not long enough for this journey of shared lives.
I lift this dream up. I lift this request up. I lift this message to Him.
God is faithful. He is worthy of our attention and our affections.
In seven days he defeated the Enemy to save and create
What in future time a Savior’s price would pay.
The words I wish to express limit the power of my thanks.
All I can do is lift hands up high beyond my tipped toes and hands raised in praise.
I cannot win this fight for dreams without the sake of my own Savior’s strength.
I no longer only focus on you. I focus on Him.
This is who I am. This is who we could be.
Beyond the sacred number of seven,
Let’s make an adventure. Let’s see what miracles lay ahead
Because our price is paid through the grace of a risen resurrection.
Life lives in the truth of seven days
In the name that for the rest of my life I have chosen to praise.
With another I would like to share my journey together.
Then as it is life will present itself as wonderfully amazing!

SIX (A Special Series of Thirteen) –

SIX (A Special Series of Thirteen) –

I am not personally crazy about the number six because it always reminds me of three six’s that exist in a sequence representing something that many spiritually consider dangerous in its foretelling.

However this is a six reason poem that highlights wonderful facts and observations about me.

Things to consider about the man James Cartee:
First I am the most tenacious man that may ever be alive
Like the obnoxious stings of thirteen bees in a hive.
Second I am good looking and humble for confidently thinking so.
You may play cupid shooting an arrow into my heart with string and bow.
Third God blesses me with Grace beyond my understanding and own logical reason
In the moment of every fall, winter, spring, and summer of a season.
Fourth you will be touched by these blessings with a newfound relation
Where songs of happiness grow with fresh feelings found in a man filled with inspiration.
Fifth I am a sweet, sweet thing in the fine ways I treat women with respect
While analyzing how better I can be in the many thoughts that I often reflect.
Sixth and finally for now I will give you my very best
Because I survived every trial of adversity withstanding every earthly test.
